Intended useļ¼The Adenovirus pneumoniae Antigen Test Device (Nasopharyngeal Swab) is a test based on fluorescence immunoassay for the qualitative detection of human Adenovirus pneumoniae antigen in human nasopharyngeal swab specimens from individuals with suspected Adenovirus pneumoniae infection in conjunction with clinical presentation and the results of other laboratory tests.
Principle:
The Adenovirus pneumoniae Antigen Test Device (Nasopharyngeal Swab) is a qualitative membrane-based Fluorescence immunoassay for the qualitative detection of Adenovirus pneumoniae antigen in human nasopharyngeal swab specimen. Adenovirus antibodies are coated in test line region. During testing, the specimen reacts with Adenovirus antibody-coated by fluorescent microspheres in the test; the mixture then migrates upward on the membrane by capillary action and reacts with the Adenovirus antibodies in test line region. According to the fluorescence intensity of the test and the standard curve, the concentration of Adenovirus pneumonia antigen in the sample can be calculated and reported by the analyzer.
