Intended useļ¼
The Legionella pneumophila Test Device (Urine) is intended for in vitro qualitative detection of Legionella pneumophila antigens in human urine to aid in the rapid differential diagnosis of Legionella pneumophila infections.
Principle:
The Legionella pneumophila Test Device (Urine) detects antigen of Legionella pneumophila virus in urine specimen based on Fluorescence Immunoassay. The sample moves through the strip from sample pad to absorbent pad. If the specimen contains Legionella pneumophila antigens, it attaches to the fluorescent microspheres conjugated Legionella pneumophila antibodies. Then the complex will be captured by the capture antibodies coated on the nitrocellulose membrane (Test line). The concentration of Legionella pneumophila antigens in the sample correlates with the fluorescence signal intensity captured on the T line, which can be scanned by Fluorescence Immunoassay Analyzer. The testing result of Legionella pneumophila antigens will display on the Fluorescence Immunoassay Analyzer screen.
