The Monkeypox Virus Antigen Test Device is intended for the qualitative detection of Monkeypox Virus antigen in human serum, plasma, whole blood, rash exudate or throat swab specimens to aid in the diagnosis of Monkeypox Virus infection.
Principle:The Monkeypox Virus Antigen Test Device detects Monkeypox Virus antigen based on fluorescence immunoassay. The sample moves through the strip from sample pad to absorbent pad. If the specimen contains Monkeypox Virus antigen, it attaches to the fluorescent microspheres-conjugated anti-Monkeypox Virus antibody. Then the complex will be captured by the capture antibody coated on the nitrocellulose membrane (Test line). The concentration of Monkeypox Virus antigen in the sample correlates with the fluorescence signal intensity captured on the T line, which can be scanned by theanalyzer. The test result of Monkeypox Virus Antigen will display on the analyzer screen.
